This component, still too little known to the general public and even to professionals, meets a growing need within a rapidly expanding vehicle fleet.

The function of the filter is to block dust and debris that could clog the ventilation ducts and damage the cooling fan. Its good condition is essential to the proper operation of the cooling circuit and, consequently, to the thermal stability of the battery, an essential factor in its performance and longevity. According to manufacturers’ recommendations, it must be checked during routine servicing and replaced more frequently when vehicles are used in dusty environments.
A growing market :
In Europe, approximately 3.37 million vehicles use this battery cooling technology and are equipped with this specific filtration system. With four new part numbers added to its range dedicated to Toyota and Lexus, Purflux now covers 52% of the European vehicle fleet.
